Works well
" I seem to have no problems with mine on my trx450r. I did some modifications to my air box to make it easier to install but it was not nessesary. I noticed it's easier to install if I just take the air box off, that way it's in place perfect. It does what it's supposed to; keeps dirt and water out and with less junk going in the air box both the filter and air box stay cleaner "

Works great!
" This item works great! Once i got it to fit! It would not fit over the stock air box or the lid until i grinded the lid to almost a flat frame and forced it onto it! I haven't had to clean my filter since ive gotten this product and 3 of my friends are now ordering them! I recommend the product if you can get it to fit! "

Good Purchase
" Good product. I wanted this product because the stock air box is so restricting on my yfz 450. Just make sure you clean your box with rubbing alcohol and sand it a little bit. My velcro is coming off already because I didnt clean the air box very well. "

TRX 450ER Outerwears Cover
" Above average supplemental protection for people who run without an airbox cover. I race hare scrambles, GNCC, and occasionally MX, and this product helps lessen the amount of debris and water entering my airbox in really muddy and wet races. It still is no replacement for actually having a cover on your air box but is a great way to add a little extra insurance. "

Outerwear airbox cover for '07 Raptor 700?
Asked by Champ
I'm sure someone does but it's not showing that I stock any air box covers specifically for that 700. Mainly just the filter cover designed specifically for the k&n filter.

Jetting?
Asked by kawirider367, Syracuse Ks
It's always recommended to check your jetting after installing anything revolving around the intake or exhaust. But this is just replacing your air box cover so it shouldn't require any jetting.
Answered by Drewski, Portland, OR
What difference does it make? Why is it better than the stock cover?
Asked by Zackcz, CT
Your stock lid limits how much air flow comes through it so switching to this cover allows more air flow through the box.
Answered by Drewski, Portland, OR
Power?
Asked by kawirider367, Syracuse Ks
You might notice a little bit of a boost in both areas since you will be removing your air box lid but the gains are very small.
Answered by Drewski, Portland, OR
How does it perform in really wet conditions?
Asked by wsouth, alabama
I would say for extremely wet conditions this wouldn't be something I would have on my atv. Due to this eliminating the airbox cover. Ideally this would be used in drier conditions with minimal risk, but water would be pushing it.
Answered by james718
will it fit?
Asked by suzukidude400
You're better off running the power lid than this cover. This cover works basically the same as the power lid but without the filter element.
Answered by james718, Portland, OR
will it fit
Asked by ltrufg
No this will not fit. These are designed to fit the OEM airbox only.
Answered by james718, Portland, OR
Does it come with velcrow so it will stick to airbox
Asked by outy, deer park, WI
it comes withy everything you need to put it on
Answered by ericmoniz
So does it just replace the airbox Lid?
Asked by Nowak, Minnesota
its the same thing that is the prefilter for a k&n air filter. it allowes you to remove your air box lid without having water, sand, or large chunks of dirt getting into your air box. if you do instal this you will have to rejet your carb or retune your fuel injection.
