MUST BUY!!!!
" These bars are the single best purchase I have ever made!! They are expensive but they are cheaper than the medical bills for two broken arms. I over shot a triple and completely flat landed the bike. The bars flexed so much that they actually broke and I crashed. I know that If I would have not had these bars, I would have two broken arms right now. There is not one bad thing to say about these bars. I strongly recommend these bars for every rider. They do not come with a cross bar pad. You will have to order that seperate for 15$. "

Excellent Bars
" I have used these bars for at least six years. I have had no issues with these bars at all, they are very durable. I had purchased them after having severe pain in my wrist from riding rock run enduros, my wrist would hurt so bad after a rock run that I would plunge booth my hands in a ice chest full of water and ice. That is no longer the case. The movement in the bars is not even noticed when you are ridding. I use the yellow durometers. The only negative is their weight , they are a little heavy when compared to regular bars. The price is a little steep too, but they are worth it. So if you have any issues with your wrist, hands or shoulders I highly recommend these bars to keep you ridding. "

BUY 'EM! THEY WORK!
" These bars helped reduce arm pump at the track and trails. I installed them on my YZ250 10 months ago and have been loving them ever since. I use the yellow rubber spacer (softest). Although the only thing to reduce arm pump is getting more seat time, I highly recommend these bars. They're perfect and made my bike more comfortable. Good investment. "

definite Improvement
" They are a lot more expensive than any other bar out there. But I felt it is definitely money well spent. I got these bars and then didn't get to ride for a month. I got back on the track and was a little rusty and came up short casing jumps or overshot the landing a bit for the first couple of laps. Normally a fairly uncomfortable or painful experience. There was a very noticeable reduction in shock from the hard impacts. Also, these have less sweep and sit a little higher than the stock bend I had and felt more comfortable. They are a little heavier than other bars but they make up for it with performance. You wont feel the weight difference while riding. "

*Buy Flexx Bars*
" I bought the flexx bars and they are amazing. They help with reduced vibrations, arm-pump, etc. Im writing this review with one hand right now because 4 days ago at a state race I overshot a jump completely and snapped my left wrist. The bars most likely saved my right wrist and the only reason why i mightve broken my left wrist is because a steering stem bolt came loose which shifted all of my body weight to the left. Heres pictures of the jump so you can get an idea of how hard i flat landed. Keep in mind I had on the blue elastomers (soft) Flexx Bars are a must buy, they WILL help you. "

Money Well Spent!!!
" These bars are the best out there...period! Although a little pricey they are worth it for the added comfort and adjustability that just can't be obtained by the typical bar. If they have a downside I guess it would be that they require maintinance that other bars don't. Also, I noticed the nuts that hold the elastomers in place trying to back off but I added a second nut on each side and have been worry free since. "

LESS PUMP AND NUMBNESS
" I am an older rider and could only do about 5 laps on the local choppy, chuckholed track before my hands would get numb. I was very skeptical, but after using these bars I can ride much longer before getting arm pump or numbness. One of the best features of this bar is being able to adjust the bar height by using the different polymers and spacers included. Expensive, but for me, well worth it. "

Ride Harder for Longer
" I was skeptical of spending this kind of money on handlebars. However, I'm so happy with my purchase. I appreciate them the most when I switch and ride a machine that has normal bars. The Flexx bars are constructed very well and come packaged with all the information you need to know about them. They are heavier and more complicated than a normal handlebar. Definitely a worthwhile investment for the hard core rider or racer. Make sure you have 1-1/8" clamps, since you'll need them to run these bars. I had no issues with fittiment, and all my control cables reached fine. Even the stock kill switch can be retained. I'll probably buy more Flexx bars for my other bikes, I just wish they didn't cost so much. "

worth every penny spent on these bars
" I mounted my flex handlebar system on a 400ex w/ an antivibe stem and was extremely surprised at the shock and vibe reduction. I had a surgery on my right arm and ended up w/ 6 scews and a plate in my right arm. I was having alot of pain in my arm and wrist when riding. these bars made riding and racing enjoyable for me once again. Greatly reduced my arm pump. I am buying another set for my crf. "

Not just another fad
" The first thing that probably comes to most people's minds is the price tag . . . yes $300.00 for a set of handlebars is a little hard on the wallet. The bottom line though is that you get what you pay for. The craftsmanship and overall fabrication of these bars is clearly second to none. These really can make the difference between a "sprained thumb or wrist" verses being able to walk away from a bad landing and just laughing it off. Personally I think everything in this sport is overpriced. But when it comes to any type of modification that affects "handling" and overall safety the Flexx Bars help get the job done. "
What is the best rise for motocross?
Asked by 450rider, Spartanburg, SC
At your height you should use a 14 degree for motocross application. Check what type of steering stem you are using for the rise. The Quad low has a 92 mm rise and the standard Quad as a 116 mm rise.

I have a stock 03 yz250. Do I need anything else to mount these? I have standard stock bars on it now.
Asked by 03YZ250
You will need over sized bar mounts and thats it.
Answered by Drewski, Portland, OR
Almost forgot... I am 6'2". Do I need the 12 or the 14 degree? I ride motocross mostly.
Asked by 03YZ250
For motocross the most common bend is going to be the 12 degree
Answered by Drewski, Portland, OR
At your height the 12 degree would be more comfortable. The 12 degree has less pull back towars you on the bike, where the 14 will come closer to you. It is more about what is comfortable.

Will the FASST Flex handle bars fit 07 KTM EXC
Asked by DesRat
Well, assuming that your GPR stabilizer fits just fine with your current setup and that your current bars and bar mounts are the stock oversized ones that came on your bike from KTM...then yes, these Fasst Flex bars should work just fine on your KTM.

i race woods and im 5 ' 10'' on a 450r what size should i get?
Asked by 001honda
I would suggest the Woods/ATV bend. The degree is really a riders preference. more degree's the higher the rise. Here's a general comparison on the degree's: 12 degree bend is similar to a windham/RC bend. 14 degree bend is similar to CR High.

can i use my old bark busters 0ff my stock bars or do i have to use the ones fleexbars offer
Asked by destoyer
You will not be able to adapt a traditional handlebar mounted bark buster on the Fasst Flexx bars. You'll either need to get what Fasst offers or wait for a company to come out with one that is designed to mount up. I do recall Cycra saying they were in the process in developing their center reach hand guards for the Flexx bar. I haven't heard if they came out with it yet or not.

Most LTR riders use the 14 Quad bend. It depends how you want to mount them, the stock clamps are 7/8 and the Flexx Handlebar is 1/1/8.

Do the pads and bars come in different colors with motosport?
Asked by nickouttanowhere
The pads are pre-packaged with the bars and we do not have the option to select a particular pad color when we order them. Typically the pad will be blue, red, or gray. Unfortunately you can not request a specific color pad when you order from us.

Which bend?
Asked by johnkfx450, Nashville, TN
It really depends on what bend of Fat bar you are running. There should be a series of numbers on your bars themselves that let you know what bend they are. You can use both Renthal.com and EastonEXP.com to see what bends are similar.
Answered by Drewski, P+RTLAND
The 14 Quad bend is similar to the KFX bend.
Answered by FasstChris
How do you pick the rest of the bend?
Asked by DeMento
Take a look at the attachment for the specs on the 12 and 14 degree flex bars.

Answered by johnkfx450, Nashville, TN
I am thinking of getting the Flex Bars for my Honda CRF230. What bend do you recommend for woods riding and do the clamps have to be replaced?
Asked by RR2000, gulfport, ms
yes the clamps will have to be replaced. your bike came with 7/8" bars and these are designed for fatbar mounts. and for in the woods narrower is better. depending on your height, the height of your handlebars will most likely be better if they are taller then stock. woods require more standing up then the track so a bar higher so youre not bending over as much would be beneficial.

Asked by ellusivebull
They list the dimensions in degrees, Here's a link to what I'm talking about.http://www.fasstcompany.com/products/flexx/bends.shtml They do break down the actual bend size like traditional handlebars.
