Great
" Bought for a 05 trx450 that was a basketcase. I installed a new Hot Rods stroker crank and the quad would start making a weird noise as it approached mid throttle and stalled out if you gave it any more gas. This jet kit is very simple and easy to install for anyone that knows their way around a carb and it really bought the engine to life. HOWEVER! i did not feel like the engine was powerful enough compared to my crf450r's but this is also my first quad every so maybe im not use to the weight difference or still need to change the jets a little for the right set up.. Either way, this kit got the quad moving on its own power and im more then happy "

Bike runs very poorly
" Made the bike run very poorly. I followed the instructions and put in what they recommended... Bike ran very eradically. I changed the settings on the needle jet, the main jet size, the pilot screw turns... same eradic problems, the bike is unrideable. I made all these changes one at a time, very methodically. I went back to the stock jets, and the bike rips again! FMF doesn't even make jets, these are dynojets. Annoyed. "

save your money!
" I have a 2008 TRX450R and bought the kit thinking it would be a good set of jets. The biggest main in the kit was a 132. Stock jet on the 450R is a 122. If you're looking to get a little more out of your stock airbox, filter, and exhaust it would be a good kit, but with any aftermarket exhaust you'll need about a 165. I would recommend saving your money and going with the HRC kit...you won't be disappointed! Overall the only use I was able to get out of this product was a D-shaped tool for the fuel screw and a better needle. "

FMF Kit
" OK heres the deal on this. If you get an FMF pipe this may work for you, however if you jet your DRZ based on ThumperTalk and Eddies suggestions, this kit does not have the correct jets. There is NOTHING that can make your DRZ run as good as Eddies suggestion. I had to return this item. "

SO SO
" I purchased this kit to jet my 04 CRF450. It has a 490 kit. The main jets only went up to 155. They are also not interchangable with the stock jets. The kit comes with an adaptor for there mains to work. I was riding at the Glamis sand dunes, and needed more adjustment. They have numerus vendors at the dunes, and no one had any jets that would fit the adaptor. I had to raise the needle and run it easy. It wasent much fun. "

Good jet kit
" This was a nice jet kit the only down fall I would like for it to have bigger jets. I have the biggest jet in the kit installed and I think I may need to go bigger. If you just have the exhaust and no air box lid then you might be ok. If you are above 3000 feet this will be the perfect kit for you. Wish it would have came with jet sizes 170, 175, 180, 185, 190. and not the smaller sizes. "

Great Customer Service & Prices
" Through the years I have ordered many things from Motosport either on-line or the phone. The customer service guys are great and so are the prices. My son & boyfriend race motocross and always seem to need something. The prices are much better than our local motocross store. The delivery time is also fast. You guys always seem to have what they need. I recently ordered an FMF power up jet kit, which works great by the way. Thanks, Linda "

No, this kit includes just the main jets and the needle. Leak jets are not included.

What size of jets come with this kit for a 06 trx450r
Asked by Emasterfresh, New kensington, PA
Included jets will be enough to cover a multitude of different possibilities. FMF doesn't list the exact size jets without having the product in my hands. That's unfortunately impossible as these packages are sealed and our warehouse is over 2,000 miles away.

Would I need a jet kit for a hot cam
Asked by shockg80
If you think the bike isn't getting fuel than inspect the jets to make sure they are not clogged. I would figure out why the bike isn't starting before buying parts, if you're unsure.
