Good Quality
" Much tighter tolerances than the Weisco. I recently rebuilt a 03 CR125 bottom end and used a Weisco crank mainly because of price. When it arrived I was surprised to find excessive movement of the connecting rod. It seemed to be almost as much sloppiness as the worn out OEM unit I was replacing. I went ahead and installed the crank, new bearings and all the seals with no issues. The crank lasted less than 10 hours before the crank bearing gave out. I replaced bottom end again, this time with a hod rods unit. I found the connecting rod to have almost no lateral or vertical movement at all. I will never buy another Weisco crank. "

Great deal, and product
" This is an excellent product, that comes with everything needed to rebuild a bike that has a blown connecting rod. I have used many Hot Rod kits, but this is the first complete kit. The bike runs outstanding, well balanced, less vibration then stock. and it was much easier, then going through the hassle of having the crank shaft pressed. "

Good replacement
" I bought this as a replacement for my 2006 CRF 250R, after 70 hours the stock crank was worn well beyond spec on the small end. This crank has a replaceable bushing on the small end which I like. Fit and finish looks great. Bike runs nice and quiet after put back together and has not blown up after the first few hours of break in. If this out lasts the stock crank I will give it a 5 star rating, as of now its a 4. "

good kit
" Does not contain the oil seals. You have to buy them seperate. Does include the top end gaskets, so if you buy the complete bottom end and top end kit together, you end up with an extra set of top end gaskets. No biggie, keep those for the next time. Every other gasket is included. "

Excellent purchase
" I recently destroyed the stock crank on my '02 KX250, and compared side by side before I installed the hot rods crank, this one is noticably lighter than stock. As for stronger and more durable, I'll see, but with a name like Hot Rods, I'm sure there's at least 150 hours before I'll even have to consider inspecting this bad boy. "

Motosport is GREAT!
" I recently purchased the HotRods Crank assembly and I must say that this product is equivalent or better than OEM in quality and only a fraction of the price... Will buy these for any bikes that I need a crank for in the future. As for Motosport, they got the thing here in 2 days and I didn't have to pay shipping because it was over $100... AWESOME PRODUCT & SERVICE!! THANKS! "

No, the bearings are not included.

do you sell a crank kit for a 1986 suzuki rm 125?
Asked by sinned, akron,OH
Hot Rods does not offer a crank assembly for your bike. all thou they do offer a rod kit they usually run around $100 dollars and then your going to have to have someone rebuild it for you and that can get expensive. if your looking for a crank your going to have to use the OEM.
Answered by bountybob, Tualatin
does this kit come with the piston and rings as pictured?
Asked by Tindall591, NJ
I'm not seeing the piston and rings pictured with this crank assembly. This is just going to be the crank and rod assembly. It will not include the piston or the rings
Answered by Drewski, Portland, OR
are you able to sell parts for a kx65?

As of now the lead ban has only effected OEM, and not aftermarket parts.
Answered by james718
Seals and bearings
Asked by nick105
It depends on the model but most all of the cranks do not come with bearings or seals. The complete bottom end kit does comes with bearings and seals and a complete gasket kit as well.

This is an oem replacement crank. We do carry some stroker cranks, just depends on what bike you are putting it on.
