Needs Some Improvements
" I got this for my 06 WR450F to use as a kill switch and quickly realized that it isn't set up for the OEM hot start located on top of the lever clamp. I decided to use it as a starter switch instead and put a Fly Racing billet kill switch on it. Double check everythig that is mounted to your lever clamps before you buy this thing. Also, the red rubber button cover seems thin. I doubt it lasts very long. The bezel aound the red button makes it impossible to use anything but an open ended box wrench on the bolts. "

Too Expensive!
" Not worth $50. The rubber button cover is a little thicker than a balloon. Stock or a Moose one is more durable. Mine tore open and the guts fell out. It still works, but poorly. It does look really cool though. . . . . . . . "

Cleans Up Controls
" I have had this button since October and it's holding up just fine. I originally just got one for the starter button on my WRF and I'm impressed enough now that I'm going to get one for the kill switch. It really cleans up the look of the controls and if you have cut down your handle bars makes fitting everything back on way easier. "

Poor Choice
" Bought two of these for 250x and 450x. Both went bad after three to four rides. One just stopped working the other the red plastic cover on the button wore out and the guts fell out. Don't waste your money. "
will it work with a ASV3clutch/clamp? it doesnt look like it will
Asked by bthunder, Heber, Ut
Since the kill switch attaches to the back of the brake perch it should fit just fine.
Answered by Drewski, Portland, OR
Yes, this will work with ASV set ups.

Will this work on a 1983 ATC 250r?
Asked by TDog25, Washington
Going back that far, I'm not really sure. These are a universal switch assembly. It would be questionable whether it fits or not.

Will this switch also work as a start button on an electric start bike?
Asked by katman, Texas
I don't believe this would double for a start switch.
Answered by james718, Portland, OR
On Ride Engineerings web site they have this listed as engine kill/starter switch. So yes it would work for either.
