" This Is a great deal on awesome strong bars and Very nice, strong looking clamps. the old 7/8 Renthals on my ride were tweaked pretty good and one clamp was bent beyond repair. I put the Windham mid rm bend and black clamps on my 04 CR and I love them. Very comfortable. Bike has been laid over by me and my nutcase buddies and everything is still straight. "

Bars and Bar mounts
" Absolutely love the KDub bend Contour bars. It was like a brand new bike/riding experience after installing them. I'm 6'2" so the taller bend and the height added by the bar mounts made this set up perfect for me. The Turner bar mounts are beefy and look great. The only thing that is a minor issue was the bots that go through the triple clamp are a little too long and will hang up on the wire/cable guides on the steering stem frame neck on the KX450. Easily remedied by bending the guides slightly. Just make sure everything still moves freely through the guides after bending them. "

" Bought these bars after i bent a pair of Standard pro taper bars in a roll over. And let me tell you these bars are strong so strong in fact that the next time my bike was rolled the bars held up, but the steering stem was not so lucky. I ride a 400ex and would recommend these to a friend. "

" I got the ATV Mid bend for my DVX 400. They are a liitle wider than stock wich makes it feel like your have more control over the quad. The only reason i gave it four stars was because the mounts didnt workout. The bolts that connect the bottom part of the aftermarket mounts to the steering stem were too short because the bottom part of the stock clamp is not threaded. so i used the bolts that are used to hold the aftermarket clamps together to hold them to the steering stem and went out and got some bolts to hold the clamps together. Other than that Great product. "

" These bars make all the difference in the world. You will never regret buying these bars! They make the bike feel more controlled and they have a more aggressive feel to them (i got the cr high rise). They do reduce the vibration quite a bit too (I've got a cr500 and it makes a big difference). Really i can't say enough good stuff about these bars. One week after i got these bars I crashed into an atv with my bike going about 60mph and bent my triple clamps, cracked my clutch cover, and cracked my frame in half and yet these bars still did not bend. Really I think that any of the 1 1/8 bars on this site are good, but I think that these are one of the best. Also for the price i don't know why you would even bother buying any of the more expensive bars other than to look cool or something. "

Well, that actually depends on what exactly was damaged in your crash. If all that was damaged was your bars and bar mounts, then this bar/mount combo will work just fine for you. However, if you've damaged anything else (as in your throttle tube, levers, etc) then you would obviously need to replace all that stuff as well. Also keep in mind that you may either want or need to replace your grips if you are replacing your bars.

Are these oversized bars compared to stock bars of CR250?

Normally most bikes come with 7/8th bars, the Contours are a 1 1/8th bar so they are over sized compared to stock.

The bar mount height might differ depending on the type of bike these are installed on. Whether if these mounts include a D-bolt type installation would be determined by the bike as well. The KX bike you mentioned about will use a different type of mount that you described (meaning no D-bolt). If you need more specific answers contact our Sales Team for more info.

I don't have a listing for the stock bend on the 99 but the closest to the stock '00 kx125 in the pro taper contours would be the Henry/Reed bend which is 4mm taller and has 14mm more pullback.
