GREAT FILTER
" I have been using Twin Air for many years and have never had a problem. This filter is a little smaller than the oem filter which makes it a little easier to remove and install. I change my filter every ride or every other ride depending on the conditontions and these filters hold up to the constant cleanings. I highly recomend this filter. "

Great air filter!
" I use this air filter in my 2006 YZ450 Desert race bike . I race desert & go to the sand dunes with this filter. If you do a proper air filter cleaning & oiling method you will never have any problems, i use Notoil air filter cleaing & oiling kit with this filter, this is the way to go! "

Very nice
" I bought this to replace my 2009 YZ 250F stock air filter which i used no toil bio oil on. Once it arrived totally dry, I saturated it with the no toil bio oil, soaked up any excess and wal Lah. Well actually it was like Wal "holy F*@@" Lah. This brought some life back into my bike. Breaths so much better yet still traps all the particles and debris. Air boot is spotless every time i've changed it. (17 Times so far) Also It cleans up really well. Every time I have cleaned it thus far, it looks brand new again., inside AND out. No joke. Would CERTAINLY recommend this my mom if she rode. "

Nice filter
" I've always liked the twin air filters and have had them installed on a few of my bikes. I've never had any issues with any Twin Air filters. I find them to be much higher quality than stock. I recently have tried the No Toil filters and think they are probably a better deal for the money though. "

It's a filter!
" Actually I think the Twin Air seemed to me to be a bit more substantial than the stock Honda part. The foam was a bit denser. Can't tell any difference from OE in terms of performance but sure can in price. Only reason why it's not 5 stars is that I HATE cleaning filters. My road bikes have K&N's and if they made one for this bike I'd use it instead just because they are easier to clean and lube... "

" The kid before me that owned my bike never changed the air filter. So I thought my bike would say thanks to me if I put another air filter on it. Installation took about 5 mins at the most. Best filter ever!
" This a fantastic product! Very durable and lasts way longer than OEM. It also comes with that plastic grommet on most of them to help seal out dirt around the bolt hole. However the 85cc filters do not have that grommet and it is only slightly annoying. They used be cheaper years ago around $16-18 but thats MX inflation and still worth the money. "

great deal
" very nice filter! i put this in my 94 yz125 thinking maybe it'll have some more power...and it really brought my bike back to life! i race harescrambles, and i ride a little more extreme when joy riding, and not one bit of dirt has gotten into my carb yet! very nice air filter at a reasonable price. it lets in plenty of air so the bike runs like new and it has not let a spec of dirt in and i have had this filter for a year now! just make sure to use a good filter oil and to grease the bottom of the filter so no dusty air or water get by. this thing will stop a good amount of water too. i usually ride through two to three feet of water and mud when joy riding...and yes. my carb is clean as a whistle!!! Good air filter
" I bought 2 of them and have only used them once. First ride with them I broke my leg but has nothing to do with filter. I have washed them once and it held up fine. With my filtron filters after 10 washes they would fall apart. It is a little hard to get all of the dirt out of this filter. I had to pick thorough it after washing to get more dirt specks out. They said it would be 3 day shipping but it turned out to be 11 days which got me mad but I finnaly go my filters. Overall I think it is a good product. "

The best!
" I've used the stock filters, other aftermarket filters, and of course Twin Air. And well the latter wins hands down! They are the smallest and easiest to install/remove within the CRF's tiny airbox and cleaning/oiling is a snap! I have noticed that my Honda Twin Air filters haven't lasted quite as long as my Suzuki, Yamaha, and older Honda Twin Air's in the past. But besides the occasional tear, they can't be beat! "

" Its a realy good filter for the price. My old one got a hole torn in it from the mounts and so far this one has held up. I ride mostly sand dunes and it keeps all the sand out, and is very easy to clean. "

More expensive than others, but worth it.
" I have tried other filters, and they simply do not hold up as well. These filters are well worth the extra cost. These do not swell when washed in gas. This filter will out last any other thru repeated cleanings. I tried the rest. Now I only use Twin Air. "

The best air filter out there
" I bought 2 of these air filters for my 06 YZ450F when I bought the bike last october. Since then I have probably cleaned each filter at LEAST 25 times. ***Outstanding Performance, Great Purchase***
" Ive been using TWIN AIR filter for quite some time and have never had any problems with them. They usually end up lasting me 6months, thats with cleaning after every ride(first with gasoline followed by dish detergent)usually 4-6 hrs. Sooner if environment is dusty. Usually my filter oil of choice is NO-TOIL but ive used more than a half dozen different brands of oils and treatments on them, they all work fine. Highly recommended. "

I have a uni air filter, is twin air less power booster than uni or more or what?
Asked by kx250fridr
Uni and Twin Air filters are about the same in performance. You probably wouldn't notice a difference between the two.
Answered by Drewski, Por+land
does filter come pre-oiled
Asked by post450r, va
No, these are not pre-oiled.
Answered by Drewski, Por+land
the Filter, Twin air, whats different between pre-oil or no pre-oil?
Asked by Junio
Pre oiled filters are ready to go out of the box, the non pre oiled filters need to be oiled before riding.
Answered by Drewski, P+RTLAND
Does it need to be greased?
Asked by bids
You dont necessarily need to but it's recommended.
Answered by Drewski, P+RTLAND
yes you will have to oil the filter when you recieve it, but its worth it
Answered by SparkNock, Covington,Va
do i need a aftermarket filter bolt because on my o9 crf 250r the stock bolt seems too short
Asked by paul1201
You should not have to use any other filter bolt than the stock OEM. The thickness of this filter might be a little fatter than stock, so you might have to work at it to get the filter bolt started. Once you've taken the filter on and off a few times it will get easier.
Answered by james718, Portland, OR
will the twin air filter give my 400ex more hp than a k&n filter

Hard to say since I dont have any specs from the dyno for either of these products. Both will be about the same gain as far as HP goes.
