This system will come with the same as factory. If your bike comes with a dual then it will include two mufflers.

how loud is the exhaust

Depending on the bike that you're planning on putting this on, these slip-ons can certainly get pretty loud. If you are looking to get a rough idea as to the loudness and tone of this pipe on your specific bike, I'd probably have to recommend trying to find some videos that others have posted online (for example, try searching youtube.com for "Honda CBR600RR Jardine"...)
