Real nice exhaust.
" The exhaust came exactly on the expected date and everything was there. Installation was very simple and if you don't know where to start, the instructions are very clear. The exhaust itself looks great and sounds amazing. I did a lot of shopping and motosport had the best price for this model. "

" Junk!!! Carbon fiber starts to burn after about 400 miles. Jardine customer service, what customer service. Even the VP doesn't call you back. 3 months and I still don't have a replacement. Metal band that holds up the pipe is peeling paint. Go to another brand to get your $500 exhaust. "

Simply awesome
" I bought this particular exhaust a few weeks ago in Carbon Fiber. The install was a snap, took me about an hour. I did not purchase the additional fuel-remapping electronics that Jardine sells with the exhaust, so I can't say what the actual power gain was in the end. I will probably end up buying a Power Commander in the end anyways, and they have maps for most major manufacturers. I wanted to save weight, and the quality of this product is outstanding. It does look a little different on my 08 CBR600RR, so I added a picture. The overall increase in exhaust noise wasn't too bad. I've had two different exhausts on my other bikes, and compared to those, this exhaust is quiet. So far I haven't gotten into any problems with the locals. Many Harley riders exhausts are way louder anyways. I can't say much on durability so far, but I've had Carbon Fiber exhausts before from Yashi, and I never had to change anything. Jardine does mention that it may need repacking after a while, and the repacking kit they sell is cheap and the entire silencer at the end comes apart; the end cap is just screwed on and should be easy to do. All in all, it's a great deal for the price. I would purchase it again any day. "

JARDINE RT-1 _ 07 Kawa Ninja ZX-6R
" Hey, I was the guy who wrote a complain about the delay of the shipping on the other day...Anyway, i just recieved my slip-on carbon fiber Jardine RT-1dual exhaust. I had it installed for about an hour at my local Kawasaki dealership. Man, this slip-on is SICK. It looks good with any bike that has undertail exhaust. It wasn't that loud like the other people had mentioned, maybe it's on a different kind of bike. But I would say from 1-10, it probably about 6.5-7. It just loud enough where you can get people atttention and not annoying them. About an hour, riding i noticed there are 2 small cracks at the tip of the carbon exhaust (where the 2 circles molding are at) and there is little piece chipped off also--i think it was damaged by FEDEX shipping company. I contacted Motosport.com and talk to them about this issue. They handled this problem very seriously and professionally. They told me have it ship back to them and they will send me another slip-on (shipping $$ on them). I told them i can't ship it back, because i just had it installed and it costs me $81.40 to put on. They gave me Jardine's number to see if i can work something out. Jardine was very friendly just like motosport.com they actually told me that you can replace that end tip of the exhaust without taking the whole can out. I was very pleased because i can replace the tip without taking the whole thing off. So it works out just right. Overall, i was happy with Motosport.com and Jardine for getting this problem fixed. I would buy their products again, and i will recomment to my friends. Thank you motosport.com and JARDINE! "

Awesome Exhaust
" Love this exhaust it has a awesome rumble in the lower rpm's and then when you get on the throttle it really opens up. It doesn't have that usual high pitched hear every valve in the motor tone to it. Also, being carbon fiber it doesn't heat up nearly as bad as my old chrome m4 exhaust I had before I got this one. "

2006 ZX-6R 636 Carbon Fiber Jardine RT-1
" This Exhaust is a very sweet exhaust. I got it late Christmas morning and had it installed before an early Christmas dinner. The directions were very easy to read and were very step buy step with pictures. I would recommend getting a new gasket for between the end of the header pipe and the beginning of the new S - pipe before installation. The part number for a 2006 ZX-6R 636 gasket is 11060-1330. This exhaust sounds so much better than the stock exhaust and you get rid of so much stock weight. It really feels like you just shed a lot of fat off your bike. The only down side which is not even really a down side is that there is nowhere to mount the licence plate light but im sure not many people are going to cry about that! "

Very Good Slip on
" I ordered this last summer and put it on my bike over the winter. Install wasnt too hard for me (and i'm a mechanical idiot) The sound is awesome, in my opinion, and it looks sick. The most difficult part was getting the band around the canister and attaching it under the tail, it seemed like they could have made a better/higher quality band to come with the kit "

Awesome pipe
" I just purchased the exhaust, it is the best purchase i have made for the bike so far i have an 07 white and silver cbr 600rr. Only thing is the stick heat sheild didnt fit, but i just cut off the tail end and just used the neck part of it, it works perfect. It's loud and looks great. "

overall great pipe
" I have a 2007 honda cbr600rr (jet black)This pipe comes with the head, pipe, hardware, and a licence plate mount if you choose to use it. i got the exhaust really fast but the pipe wasn't the same one they show in the picture. It was actually a newer model and it looked even better than the picture itself. In sttalling this pipe was extreamly easy. it only took me so long because i wanted everything to be perfect. the only thing is the heat shield is not compatable with this exhaust, but you can still use the heat shield near your brake foot - you just have to modify it a little. i just didnt want to settle with a burnt leg everytime i wanted to ride. this pipe sounds similar to a 2brothers pipe but looks better in my opinion. i would get this pipe now - the price is too good and it sounds and looks great. i wouldnt be writing this review if it wasnt. great purchase
" I have been standing by waiting for the right time to buy a rear slip on.i wasn't sure if I really wanted to spend money on something I already had. I had to plan a way to reroute wires and taillights and still look respectable to the authorities. The jardine carbon fiber slip on was the best looking and most practical fit for my 2006 cbr1000 out there. It is very impressive to say the least. It is fairly loud but I like it. You cant beat motosport's price it's the cheapest i could find! Best modification for the price. I lost 5 pounds from the muffler alone! I lost another 2 pounds from fender eliminator kit! I't makes a huge difference to the say the least;you wont be dissapointed! "

Great look and sound
" Unfortunately the bracket for this exhaust makes it impossible to use the Jardine fender eliminator. It makes the exhaust drop down too far to get the screws in. I created my own bracket that tucks the exhaust up tighter to get the fender eliminator to work. The exhaust itself looks great and sounds good but is on the loud side for sure. "

does the jardine slipon for the 07 cbr1000rr come with the fender eliminater kit?
Asked by
no they do not.
Answered by james718
does this kit eliminate the exhast valve and servo?
Asked by Kayzrx8, Gainesville
This was only a slip-on exhaust so it wont eliminate any of that. It connects by the back side of the rear brake.
Answered by jeffreyp
yes it does on the cbr 1k's. the servo and valve will be removed when you take off the stock can. You will however need to remove the cables witch connect under the seat. pretty simple install!
Answered by number1stunner, new york
Can this exhaust be installed and still keep stock fender and without having to get a rear fender eliminator kit
Asked by TheFactor
It will depend on the bike model. If it is required to eliminate the rear fender, the kit will include the fender kit.
Answered by MotoMoo2, Portland
Can you still retain the stock heat sheilds or do they need to be removed
Asked by TheFactor, TheFactor
Any stock heat shields that are mounted to the exhaust system will not be compatable with this system.
Answered by MotoMoo2, Portland
Does the Jardine RT-1 Slip-on for the 08 ZX6R come with the bracket to mount stock fender?
Asked by Mathew
Yes the RT-1 Slip-on will have the bracket to mount the original Tail light, turn signals and license plate.
Answered by racer3114, PDX
low end power
Asked by motofreak1000, oregon
Nope, you shouldn't see any loss of power in the bottom end. With that said, you shouldn't expect to see any real gain in bottom end grunt, but you will certainly feel the difference in midrange-hit all the way to the top! For bike-specific dyno results, instructions and pictures of their different products, I'd recommend taking a look at Jardine's website ( http://www.jardineproducts.com/ )
Answered by Darren77
Does this pipe come with the mid pipe and fender eliminator?
Asked by gndzro
it dosesnt come with a fender eliminator, if your stock muffler has a mid pipe that is solid mounted then this will to.

Does Jardine make the rt1 dual outlet exhast for a 2004 600rr?
Asked by PIST0L
The RT1 Dual Outlet will only fit 05-09 600RR's.
Answered by FiZZZUrP, Portland
is this exhaust road legal?
Asked by sandman1985, kent
Ifyou read your OEM manual from the manufacturer of your bike, it say's removing the original exhaust muffler will make it illegal. But, I've never been stopped or cited, the only thing I notice is my oil pressure red light stays on and my tech said it is because the bike knows something has changed. I would'nt worry about it.

Answered by Nate675, Portland
if I install A Jardine R-T 1 slipon muffler on a 2006 cbr 1000 rr , do I have to have the engine re-mapped?
Asked by badco
IF you want to maximize performance, yes. Otherwise no its not absolutely necessary.
Answered by Nate675, Portland
In most cases, you do not need to remap the engine with a slip on. It is recommended in order to obtain the most power and correct fuel mixture for your investment.
