This frame slider kit spent a lot of time in R&D. The narrow engine on this fitment makes for a somewhat longer slider being needed to reach the bodywork. Woodcraft was concerned that a standard slider would have a tendendcy to bend and / or break - causing damage to the frame and engine.

With this in mind, Woodcraft made a support bracket that clamps securely to the frame to reinforce the slider. Again, a test rider tried them out (with a crash while racing) and they held up perfectly, helping to protect the tank and water pump. These are a little more expensive than Woodcraft's standard sliders, but well worth the investment when it comes to protecting your motorcycle.

This is a special set that sits behind the bodywork - offering valuable protection for the water pump and other vulnerable pieces, but which does not require cutting the bodywork. This kit utilizes the short high-density pucks for replacement pucks.
